Plugin Features

  • Weather Forecast from two APIs - YR and SMHI

    Weather forecast can be retrieved by two APIs - YR and SMHI. Can also set one default API to show the weather data when a city is searched.

  • Manage cities to show weather data

    Admin can add cities and its lat-long to get the weather data from API and show when searched from website front-end.A new page for each city is created for both APIs when added in admin panel.

  • Weather Widget Generator

    A modern and responsive weather widget that user can easily create with the generator in just a few seconds for any city and embed on any page of any website.

  • API switch on city page

    The user can switch the API on city page if SMHI page is available. By default the page opens with YR api.

  • Share current city location and view weather page

    There is also an option for the user to share the current location and automatically redirects to that city location weather page.
